FS160 Don’t miss out Henk Oversloot’s FS160 web site. It’s
a goldmine for fiNe-scale model makers. Henk has a wealth of experience, an
exceptionally wide range of model-making skills, and is one of the top model
railway builders I know. Henk is very committed to promoting the fiNe-scale
standard, which is why you will also find all the relevant information and
definitions regarding the fiNe-scale/FS160/FREMO standard here.
RAW-Nette Jens Emmermann builds models in fiNe-scale with remarkable
precision. He is a true innovator, his technical ideas consistently shape the
field and set a new bar for excellence in fiNe-scale modeling. His website
looks a bit dated, but the information is all still valid and Jens is also
a very active fiNe-scale modeller.
FREMO The members of the association Freundeskreis Europäischer
Modellbahner (FREMO) regularly organise the module meetings mentioned
above.
The 2 mm Scale Association The 2 mm scale is a
standard that has existed since the 1960s. It uses a scale of 2 mm on
the model to represent 1 foot on the prototype, which equates to a
scale of 1:152.4. and has the same claim for scale accuracy as fiNe-scale
and therefore shares a lot with fiNe-scale. The british 2mm Scale
Association is astrong organisation with many active members. However,
Brexit has made shipping to the EU more complicated.
